Lily Holleman – “Catharine”
Lily Holleman stars as Catharine, the troubled teen the film is centered on. Lily’s range as an actress is extremely diverse. She co-starred alongside comedian Tracey Ullman in four episodes of the Showtime comedy series Tracey Ullman’s State of the Union and then played a former meth-addict mother fighting for the right to keep her child as a recurring guest-star in the NBC police drama, Southland. urFRENZ is Lily’s first lead role in a feature film.

Gayla Goehl – “Debbie”
Gayla’s credits include Films (The Sequence, All About Us), TV (House M.D., Charmed, Higgleytown Heroes), Off-Broadway World Premieres (One More Time, Critical Care, Evolution), Dozens of Commercials, Industrials, Voice Overs and Jingles (K-Mart, Pepsi-Cola, CBS’s “The Early Show”) as well as performing lead roles in over eighty equity stage productions in Los Angeles, Chicago and around the country.

Najarra Townsend – “Madison”
Najarra Townsend co-stars as Madison, the popular girl who has now estranged herself from former friend Catharine. Najarra is an indie film veteran, having major roles in features such as the Cannes film festival smash Me and You and Everyone We Know with Miranda July and Tru Loved with Jane Lynch. She currently has several films in pre-production and post.

CaroleAnne Johnson – “Beth”
CaroleAnne Johnson co-stars as Beth, a mother torn between her daughter and her online profile. CaroleAnne has a fast-growing list of credits, including more than a dozen productions in the past 18 months. Her film and stage credits include An American Tract, Back in 10 with Michael Constantine, Constitution USA, Heart of Fear, Rich Fields Gone Wild, Prelude to a Kiss and Trouble and Kids.

Michael Robert Kelly – “Jacob”
Michael Robert Kelly graduated cum laude from UC San Diego with degrees in Theatre and Biological Anthropology. He has performed in several UCSD department productions including Laramie Project and Woyzeck. He has also performed in several independent films and the soap opera “Watch Over Me”. Michael is very grateful for the opportunity he had in being a part of urFRENZ with so many talented people.

James Maslow – “Brandon”
James Maslow is a singer, dancer and actor whose musical and acting talents snagged him a guest-star role on iCarly and then the starring role on the new Nickelodeon Primetime series Big Time Rush. urFRENZ is James’ first feature film.

Jeff Phillips – Writer / Director
Jeff Phillips began writing for features and television in 1995. He is a ten time produced screenwriter and a member of the Writer’s Guild of America. He currently has features in active development at Sony, Warner Bros. and Spyglass. He is also a published novelist and has recently completed his second graphic novel. Jeff Phillips is represented by Jim Strader at Quattro Media Management and Jeff Frankel.

Jana Winternitz – Producer
Jana Winternitz is a Los Angeles based Producer and Actress. Though Jana’s primary role on the film is producer, she also appears onscreen as Madison’s best friend Brianna. Producing urFRENZ has been a great role and an exciting challenge for Jana, though her main emphasis is still towards acting.

Michael J. Gallagher – Co-Producer
Michael J. Gallagher is a Los Angeles based filmmaker. In addition to a number of award-winning short films and music videos he directed, Michael is also the founder and executive producer of the online comedy show Totally Sketch, which has been seen by an audience of over fifteen million people. Several actors from the urFRENZ cast have appeared in various episodes of the show.

Zach Anderson – Editor
Zach Anderson was born and raised in Orange County, California. He graduated from Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film with a BFA in Film Productions. He was nominated for Chapman University’s “Best Editor of the Year” Award. Zach served as both Editor and Post Production Supervisor on urFRENZ.

J. Søren Viuf – Director of Photography
J. Søren Viuf is an LA-based cinematographer specializing in narrative features. Having filmed in China, the Middle East, the Philippines, and all over the United States, J. Søren’s wish is to continue telling meaningful stories with meaningful people. Especially, he would like to thank “urFrenz” director Jeff Phillips for the leap of faith he took on Søren and the incredible responsibility he entrusted with him.

Lisbeth Scott – Composer
Lisbeth Scott is an accomplished singer, songwriter, composer and vocalist. Scott’s vocals and/or compositions can be heard on over 50 blockbuster films including James Cameron’s record breaking “AVATAR” , “Transformers” , “The Passion of the Christ,” “Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe,” “Shrek 1 , 2 and 3”, and Steven Spielberg’s “Munich” in which legendary composer, John Williams wrote a five minute solo specifically for her. Lisbeth currently resides in Venice, CA with her husband and family and is thrilled to have written the score for Jeff Phillips feature urFRENZ.

Kristy Winter McCaw – Production Designer
Kristy Winter McCaw is a Southern California based production designer, screenwriter, producer who’s worked on numerous award winning short films since she began her career in 2005. A recent graduate of Chapman University’s MFA program, she originally began her career in entertainment as an actor. UrFrenz is Kristy’s first feature film and she is extremely grateful to Jeff Phillips for giving her this opportunity.
